Fishing for Salmon

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

By Milos Pesic Are you planning to go fishing for salmon? If you are and you are one of the beginners or first-timers, there are basic things you need to know to get you started and to help you enjoy this enjoyable outdoor activity. First off, there are several species of salmon that you should know about before you go fishing for salmon trips. There are Atlantic and Pacific salmons. Atlantic species are from the Atlantic Ocean, as the name implies. Also, you can find a wide variety of salmon in the various lakes that are in the eastern North America areas. They are the kind of salmon that dont immigrate as they prefer fresh water than salt water. The most popular of all salmons are the Chinook or king salmon or spring salmon, black mouth, however you call them, as they are the biggest among the salmon species, weighing between 25 to 65 pounds, or even more. They are found from southern California coast to the Bering Strait. Alaska has earned its fame in fishing for salmon, since it is where the heaviest ever recorded king salmon, weighing over 96 pounds. Chinook salmon is the state fish of Alaska. Other types of salmon include the red salmon or sockeye salmon, pink salmon, silver or Coho salmon, chum salmon, and the Atlantic salmon, which are left run wild in the on the Atlantic coast only. Each of the pacific salmon species have different life cycle and each returns to their fresh water spawning grounds at different times. When salmon returns to the rivers where theyre from, they are collectively called run that is, in turn, named after the river. So, if you hear the word run or runs, you know what it means. Due to the fact that salmon always come back to where they hatched, you know when the ideal times are to go fishing for salmon or mostly called fishing season and you know there will always be salmon to catch. This is why many fishermen became fascinated with fishing, whether as hobby, sport or pastime. Fishing for salmon requires bait. There are various types of baits that you cause in fishing for salmon. There are plugs, worms, lures, and flies in which you can use for fresh water salmon; for salt water, you can go for flies, streamers, crustaceans, and lures. Fly fishing for salmon will require you to have 12-16 ft. graphite or fiberglass rod, fly reel and line. For bait fishing, you will need a 10 ft. spinning rod and bait caster reel with up to 20 lb. test line. But if you are into fishing for king or Chinook salmon, you will need a boat or a trolling rod. And because Chinook are known to be the biggest and heaviest of its kind, you will 20-40 pound or more test line. Who knows, your simple fishing for salmon trip could land you to catch king salmon? Achieving Real Weight Loss

Monday, October 29th, 2007

By Marjorie Geiser The state of health in America is not very positive. As of today, according to the Center for Disease Control, an estimated 65% of adult Americans are considered overweight and 30% of those are considered obese. Cancer much of it preventable — has now surpassed heart disease as the number one cause of death and the number of people who know they have diabetes is now up to 14.6 million. But what are the causes of increased weight gain, what is science telling us about this condition, and most importantly, what can people do about it? Its no surprise that most Americans are eating more than they need and are less active than they were meant to be. According to recent findings by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the average daily caloric intake of Americans is 2,757. Compared to 1970, this is an increase of 523 calories per day. It takes roughly 3500 calories to gain or lose a pound of weight. If a person increased or decreased their daily intake by 500 calories a day, there is the difference in weight you can gain or lose in a week with that difference. Its very easy to add an extra 500 calories a day to a persons diet. Just a large order of French fries will do it! The same is true with NOT eating that extra order of French fries, however. Although some statistics show that there is a slight increase in leisure time activity across the country, according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), physical activity drops in children from 69% at ages 12 and 13 to 38% for young people between 18 and 21. Between 1991 and 1997, the CDC reports that the percentage of students who attended a daily physical education class dropped from 42% to 27%. If adults are not staying physically active, and children are not getting physical exercise in school, the message they receive is that exercise is not important. Studies show that if children do not learn healthy eating habits and exercise habits when young, they will likely struggle with healthy habits as adults. Could we be killing our kids by not taking care of our own health, setting healthy examples for them, today? But not all people struggling with weight are just sitting around, not exercising and eating ice cream and French fries. Could there be something more going on? Researchers are now looking at what genetics can tell us about weight gain. Some people suffer from the need to eat large amounts of food, no matter how full they feel. Researchers are looking at a substance in our body called Leptin. Studying mice, they find that those mice who have very little Leptin in their bodies tend to eat more, thus they gain more weight, suffering from obesity. But there still is no real solution available for people suffering with large amounts of weight. Although supplement companies have quickly jumped on the bandwagon to capitalize on what preliminary research is telling us about Leptin, these supplements are still false promises that just guarantee emptying the pocketbooks of the hopeful who feel there is no other help for them. What about the claim that some people just cant lose weight, no matter what they do? I have a program that requires clients to document their intake of everything they eat for 30 days, sending me their daily report. What consistently has developed from this is a new awareness to the client of hidden times they eat. Its common for a client to say, I had no idea I grabbed ice cream when I was mad at my husband, or, I had no idea I was eating that bag of chips while working at the computer! As a consequence, every client who goes on this program loses weight. Many people state, as a matter of fact, that they just cant lose weight anymore. Many claim its their age, menopause, you name it. However, when real changes are made, the body does still respond, no matter what the age. In every case that a persons intake is closely monitored, and the calories are decreased, people have lost weight. Even in the case of a 1000 pound man. At home, all he did was gain and gain. By the time he was over 1000 pounds, unable to breathe or move, he was hospitalized. In the hospital, he was put on a strict 1200 calorie diet. While there for six months, on this diet, he lost 600 pounds. Although in later interviews he claimed he never ate much at home and didnt know why he couldnt lose weight at home, the facts speak for themselves. It still is just a matter of calories in versus calories out. So what does a person do? According to the National Weight Control Registry (NWCR), there are three keys to permanent success to weight loss. The NWCR was established in 1994 by two university professors and is the largest prospective investigation of long-term successful weight loss maintenance in the country. Currently the NWCR has over 5,000 people who have lost at least 30 pounds of weight and kept it off for at least a year who are eligible to join the ongoing research study. What researchers have discovered is, regardless of how people have lost the weight, keeping it off has included several necessary consistent steps: Success for these people have included following a low-fat, low-calorie diet and regular exercise. However, lets look at a few more details; many successful NWCR participants exercise for a total of 60-90 minutes a day, regularly. Many break it up through the day, and almost all claim they hated it to begin with, but now its just a part of their lives. They made a choice to avoid regaining their weight and love their lean and active lifestyles. Another consistent aspect of participants is they all eat breakfast. This is another habit that many had to get used to, but realize how important it is to eat a good meal at the beginning of the day in order to avoid cravings and high calorie snack foods later in the day. Three-quarters of all participants weigh themselves on a weekly basis, just so they can catch any increases that may slowly be developing, and take corrective action before its out of hand. Support is critical to success. Many people who struggle with weight already know that they just cant do it, themselves. They have proven this. However, often they are unwilling to admit they need help, thus they struggle for their entire lives. First of all, when someone has emotional eating issues, its critical that they seek the help of a qualified therapist they can work well with. Someone they can share their feelings with, who they feel they can confide in and trust. Next, its important to also find a Registered Dietitian (RD) to help them learn how to apply the wealth of nutrition knowledge they already know to their own lives. There are many people who call themselves nutritionists and many food coaches, but these people are not educated in all aspects of nutrition the way an RD is. The third important piece of the support team is to find someone who can help them learn how to become more active. If a person is very overweight, its important to find someone experienced in this population, not a hunk who now likes to train others to look like hunks or competitive body builders. Most people are not interested in looking like they just won the Mr/Ms America pageant; they just want to lose weight, feel great and feel they can enjoy shopping for clothes again. The ultimate key is to eat fewer calories than the body needs. However, with exercise, the need for decreased calories will be less than if a person tried to lose weight by dieting alone. The topic of TOO few calories is beyond the scope of this article, but if a person ate too few calories, they then will burn their own body muscle tissue for the needed fuel, thus defeating the purpose of exercise, which is to increase lean body mass so the body will burn more calories at rest. However, once a person learns to listen to their own body cues, they can learn how to tell when they are eating too little, as well as too much. So, first they control their calorie intake. Then they do some type of physical activity. As we have seen above, this must be consistent. It could be as simple as taking a walk, but it should be every day, every month, for the rest of their life. Most of the participants in the NWCR site walking as their primary exercise. Not a day here and there, then skip a week; it has to be consistent. Once the walking gets easy, then there should be some type of activity that increases muscle endurance or strength. Weight training isnt the only activity that can do this, although its the most common. I challenge everyone who is reading this article to think of what activity you would like to do if your weight was not an issue; it may be wall climbing, it may be hiking a mountain, it may be snow skiing, maybe Pilates or Yoga. Its a hard road to travel when a person has a large amount of weight to lose. They feel like there is just no hope and its too hard to even attempt it. Most in this position have tried more times than theyd like to admit. Or, they have allowed life to get away from them, and they now look in the mirror with disgust, but just feel overwhelmed and dont understand how to get their old body back. They feel they have no control over their life. It is possible! Read through some of the success stories from participants in the NWCR, http://www.nwcr.ws/stories.htm. Just as with anything else in life, though, if you want to make it happen, you have to work through the struggles to achieve the rewards. Ausable River Salmon

Sunday, October 28th, 2007

By Richard Chapo Many people list salmon angling at the top of their must do chart. If you do, Ausable River salmon angling is definitely worth your time. While many people may think that you can’t find good salmon angling outside of Alaska or British Columbia this is not true. Many states in the United States offer salmon angling, and Michigan is one of the best in this regard. Angling is a great experience in the Midwest, and Michigan’s Lake Huron is a perfect spot for people looking to find walleye and other northern climate fish. Another great spot here is the Ausable River, salmon angling here can be very rewarding when you choose this area for your angling trip. The Ausable River, along with the nearby Betsie River, have many salmon that migrate to their waters from Lake Michigan. Both Chinook salmon and king salmon are prevalent here, with August through November seeming to be a prime time to catch these fish on their spawning runs up these rivers. Ausable River salmon angling can be a challenge, due to the fact that these fish can easily be spooked and don’t always go for the same lures, but true sport fishermen will enjoy the challenge that these fish pose. While choosing to fish in this part of Michigan, you’ll definitely need a place to stay. Many cabins and small motels and lodges offer rustic amenities to outdoors people who are on a angling trip. The Ausable River Valley holds towns that have many different spots for lodgings, with cities like East Tawas offering campgrounds, cottages, cabins and resorts. The Timberlane Resort, located in East Tawas near Lake Huron, this site offers you the opportunity to not only do some Ausable River salmon angling, but to also fish for other species in Lake Huron. Ausable River also offers other scenic and historic things to see and do, for those times when you need a break from angling. Here, the Tawas Point and Sturgeon Point lighthouses, both built in the 1800’s, offer some beautiful scenery. Also located here are many places in which to see varied wildlife native to the area. Angling in this part of Michigan can be a great family vacation as well, because of the different activities available to suit everyone’s tastes. Ausable River salmon angling offers the challenge and reward that many fishermen crave. Remember, a angling license is needed if you choose to fish here, even if you’re a non-resident (as long as you’re over 17), and they can be purchased either annually or for just 24 hours. You will need an unrestricted license if you are angling for salmon. Rick Chapo is with NomadJournaltrips.com - visit us to read more articles on fishing. With Wines There is a Flavour for Almost Any Taste

Saturday, October 27th, 2007

By John Gibb Any lover of wines will tell you that a good palate is not something one is born with. It is a skill that is acquired over a long course of time and education. For those of you who are not yet loves of this fine liquid, a little education may be in order. There are basically four types of wine: red, white, blush (or rose), and champagne and contrary to popular belief, good wine doesnt come in a box, that is unless its a small box that has been gift wrapped. For my purposes here I will focus on red and white wines, as they are by far the most common. The general rule about red and white wines has for years been that in general if you are eating a more delicate dish such as chicken or fish you should choose a subtle wine that wont overpower the dish. That is why red wine is traditionally associated with darker meats and white wine with lighter meats and vegetable dishes. This rule however, is not inviolate and if you are spending your hard earned money, you should be able to drink whatever you darned well please with your dinner. But hey, thats just me. But I think this rule kind of hit the wind when people began wearing white after Labor Day. While France has for many years been known as wine country the U. S. and Australia are producing some really good wines lately and Italy has always had an excellent selection. Each process will produce a different flavor and texture, as you learn more about your particular likes and dislikes make note of where the wine was made, what specific type of wine it was and what the approximate age of the wine is. Find what you like and work with that. Branch out from there and try to find similar wines in flavor, body, and texture without buying the same identical bottle of wine over and over again. If you find a wine you really like, purchase a few bottles so you have some on hand. Slowly build your collection in this manner and you will eventually have a nice collection of wines that you enjoy. Lighting Up the Darkness

By Sharon Shore Listening to the news lately reminds me of an old Chinese Curse; May you live in interesting times. The world is a volatile place.. Today most parents dearest wish is to provide our children a safe place to live in, in a safe world, but our innocence has been shattered. We are unwilling witnesses to a total breakdown of humanity. After all, what safer place could we possibly imagine then a one room school house in Pennsylvania Dutch Country? An inner sanctum of purity and innocence. We are drowning in a violent wave of hatred and a global sanctification of violence. Are you prepared to stay afloat? Do you have your batteries and bottled water, your flashlights not to mention a few hundred dollars in cash (small bills of course)? The craziest thing is that this crap is all real. Its too much for a poor guy to handle. After all, we just want to provide for our families and teach our children to be strong and virtuous people. And where is that visionary leadership we are desperately searching and praying will somehow appear? Who will restore our confidence in our own ability to overcome this profound spiritual crises? In these interesting times, we stand witness to a turning point in the history of humanity. We need to rouse ourselves from the spiritual sleep we have lolled ourselves into. Like it or not, weve got to wake the heck up already. .We need to collectively muster the courage to have faith in the innate goodness of the world. There is strength in numbers.. A little candle can extinguish a lot of darkness. We need to reignite this flame of faith within ourselves and our children. Goodness can prevail over evil. If there seems to be a vacuum of leadership in the world, have faith that God will provide that leadership. When the forces of darkness produced Hitler and Stalin, God provided a Churchill and a Roosevelt. History speaks for itself; there is always a spiritual counterbalance. Have the simple courage to believe this. God is calling us to arise and take a spiritual stand. To ignite the flame of faith and courage within ourselves. If you light your candle, Ill light mine. Anxiety Attacks, Real And Present Displays Of Fear

Thursday, October 25th, 2007

By M. Jedediah Anxiety attacks, also known as panic attacks, can strike at any time, usually with no warning. An attack can even come while you are sleeping, or seemingly completely at rest. One in 60 people with no other mental disorders will experience a panic attack each year in America. To fully describe a panic attack to someone who has never experienced one is as difficult as a sufferer simply deciding not to have any more. Once you have suffered through one however, you will never doubt their existence or seriousness again. Anxiety attacks are unexpected episodes of intense terror or fear. These attacks burst from within, unannounced and certainly unwelcome, and although the extreme level of fear is generally irrational, the perceived danger seems very real, and presents itself physically as though a tragedy of historical proportions were imminent. A person experiencing an anxiety attack will often feel as if they are about to pass out, or even that they are dying. Attempting to reason with someone who is in the midst of a panic attack will prove fruitless, and may even intensify the perception of dread, since now the sufferer will add you not believing them to their fears. If you or someone you love suffers from these sudden and intense anxiety attacks, you must prepare for the next one. Sadly, the overwhelming fear of the next attack can itself be the catapult towards one. Anxiety, when it is persistent, and the accompanying fears are all-consuming, is best dealt with by a mental health expert. Begin with your primary care physician, and be honest about the level of fear you are experiencing, the frequency of the attacks, and the impact the attacks are having on your daily life. You will then be referred to an expert well studied in your symptoms, and able to prescribe help, be it in medication form, talk therapy, or a combination of these and other methods of treating this very real disorder. It will prove invaluable to a sufferer of this debilitating disorder to keep a journal and especially to write in it as soon as possible after an attack, describing the thoughts, emotions and physical ailments associated with the gripping fear. This record will also be a very practical tool in your therapy and recovery, as you are able to look at the attacks you have come through and realize no harm came to you during them, other than what the attack itself caused. To witness a panic attack, without knowing what it is, can itself be a very unsettling experience. You may feel helpless, wanting to be of assistance, and having no idea how to proceed. The person may be hyper ventilating, complaining of not being able to breathe, or think they are having a heart attack, even complaining of chest pain. Many a trip to the emergency room with these symptoms has ended with the diagnoses of an anxiety attack. Some people who have experienced an attack in a certain place or during a certain activity may begin to associate the attacks with that situation and become irrational afraid of being in that place again. This then is an anxiety attack linked to a phobia. If this type of panic disorder is left untreated, it could quickly escalate to the degree where the sufferer is unable to even step out of their own front door to retrieve the newspaper or mail. Thankfully, much has been learned about these debilitating attacks in the past decade, and advances in treatment are ongoing. Cider Vinegar: A Good, Natural Source of Potassium

Wednesday, October 24th, 2007

By Rupert Malone Cider Vinegar is a very good natural source of potassium and potassium is an essential ingredient for normal growth and the replacing of worn out body tissues. It can also help prevent the hardening of blood vessels. Causes of Potassium deficiency in the body can be caused by certain medical conditions, including something as simple as a bad case of sickness and diarrhea. Even some medications, can purge the body of this much needed mineral. It is interesting to note that problems with splitting fingernails can be an indication of a potassium deficiency in the body. Tooth decay can also be caused by the same deficiency. Of course, if you do have bad teeth, and happen to be eating several dozen chocolate bars a day, then it is probably safe to say that Potassium deficiency isnt the problem. If your sweet-tooth hasnt got out of control, and you do have a problem with decay, then perhaps cider vinegar, with its high Potassium content, might be your answer. Yes, that apple a day will keep the doctor away and a glass of cider vinegar might keep the dentist away. Potassium deficiency, or Hypokalemia if you want to use the correct terminology, can have a lot of negative effects on the body; some of them are a lot more worrying than tooth decay. In severe cases the deficiency can cause heart problems to develop or a condition called Hypokalemic Paralysis that renders the entire body stiff. Fortunately, Potassium is present in a lot of foods apart from apples, so in the normal course of events most people should have no trouble in getting enough of this important mineral. Good sources of Potassium include fish, chicken, beef, bananas, apricots, melons, and lima beans. There are many others too, including chocolate, strange to say, so you can have your tooth ache if you want it, without having to worry about your Potassium levels falling. Chocolate Marketing-Harness The Power Of Chocolate For Your Marketing

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

By Ginger Marks Chocolate is unquestionably the number one comfort food. Worldwide, no other word excites our hearts and minds, yes, even our palates to action. It can be obtained in many forms. There is hot chocolate, cold chocolate, and spicy chocolate. If your passion is rich, dark, bittersweet, or milky sweet it can be easily satisfied. There is even white chocolate for those who fancy a light, creamy taste without the flavor that the alternatives deliver. What is it about chocolate that so permeates our subconscious until we ultimately indulge our craving? If you look at all the characteristics that this confection is noted for you will undeniably find the list lacking nothing. The very first few that come to my mind are: Sweet or bittersweet taste Rich, creamy indulgence Warm, inviting, comfort food Nothing quite smells like chocolate And that is just for starters. However, its features are not what we crave. We crave it for what it does for us. As I ponder this subject, to better focus on the answers to these questions, I can think of no other chocolaty indulgence that I would rather have than My Little Taste of Italy’s sinfully, sensual, rich and luscious cappuccino brownies. They are so well known, on both coasts of America and in between, that they have been dubbed, “Orgasmic!” Mama Gloria and Liz have discovered the key to satisfy the most discerning palate. Their tasty treats include chocolate biscotti that are to die for fabulous. Did I tell you their treats are known all across America? Well, that isn’t quite accurate. They are also ship their goodies overseas to our armed forces, but this is another tale for another time. So, what is it that Mama Gloria and Liz have discovered that has enthralled the world? They have figured out that we cannot live without chocolate and have used that knowledge to capture our appetites and our hearts. When we look at what chocolate does for us, and what makes the desire so strong that we cannot ignore it, we discover the essence of true marketing potential. What is it that My Little Taste of Italy’s Cappuccino Brownies do for the lucky soul Let’s uncover their secret. What chocolate does for the consumer is summed up in how it makes them feel. Some of these benefits are: Satisfies our senses Soothes our nerves Makes us feel good about ourselves Provides health benefits It is a well known fact that chocolate increases our endorphins, actively producing a sense of well being, and serotonin, which acts as an anti-depressant. Recently I discovered that it is also beneficial to smokers. “It has shown promise in that it may reverse some of their smoking-related impairment in blood vessel function,” according to a study in the Oct. 4, 2005, issue of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. But what does all of this have to do with marketing? The answer is simple, EVERYTHING! Think of it, if you could harness the benefits of chocolate in your advertising you would ensure your business’ success. If you simply find a way to make your product or service compelling to your consumer you will seldom loose a sale. Sit down right now and create a list of all of your product or service’s features. Then from that you will be able to build the list that will clearly define the benefits to your customers. With that knowledge firmly in hand you will have the key to the best marketing plan that you have ever prepared. Open Your Eyes

Sunday, October 21st, 2007

By Julia Jones A relationship goes through various moment and incidences with the passage of time. As it grows older couples mature and see things differently than the initial years. They become comfortable with each other and do not make efforts to impress each other as before, they know that there are there for each other no matter what. And they do stand for each other and give full support in times of need. However this is not the case with all the relationships. Many times in a relationship couples fail to stand by each other as they lack something or the other in their relationship. A relationship is the coming together of two different people that could be from different walks of life, different religion and societies and also different countries. As such a lot of care should be taken to keep the partnership intact. At times differences are very obvious and are seen and felt straight away. Yet there are relationships where couples feel that things are going well between them but actually the case is something else. There are things missing from a relationship that couples do not realize or even if they do the take it to be normal. This in later period does cause problems. Couples in a relationship should open their eyes and see to what is happening. Is everything going right or something out there is causing problems. This is necessary as in future it could turn out to be a major problem. If you give a close look at your relationship you would definitely find something or the other missing in your relationship. It could be that you are not spending enough time with each other and yet have no objection to it as you both are busy and happy with your work. You feel that everything is perfect in your relationship as you do not complain about not giving enough time to each other. Certainly there is no problem at that particular period but as time passes by there could develop a gap between the two of you. If you do not give sufficient time to one another a communication gap builds up. Since you do not spend an adequate amount of time together you are not able to share your feelings, emotions, thoughts and desires for each other and from life as a whole. In the long run you feel more like stranger and if not that then certainly there is some kind of formality in your relationship. And if a relationship has formality in it then you cannot call it a true relationship as such a bond is quite shallow. You do not talk about your true feelings and hesitate in speaking what is inside you. There could be any problem or something could be missing in a relationship which could create difficulties at one point or the other. You all know that no relationship is perfect there is always something lacking. Yet it is in your hands to make a relationship better. If you have a laid back attitude and let things go as they are then you could be doing harm to your relationship. Each and every couple needs to work on a relationship. How To Drop The Pounds Like They Are Hot - Real Weight Loss Tips And Strategy

Saturday, October 20th, 2007

By Peter Venkman Diet and Nutrition Here are some great weight loss tips for diet and nutrition: Shop on the perimeter. When you are at the grocery store, make a conscious effort to do almost all of your shopping along the perimeter. This is where all the healthy food is. Eat frequent but smaller meals. Aim for 6 per day. This may sound inconvenient but all you have to do is just prepare the same or larger amounts and mix and match smaller portions to create well balanced meals. This will keep your metabolism up, provide the nutrients and energy that you need all day long, and ensure proper digestion and absorption. Make sure you eat plenty protein. Aim for 1-1.5 grams of protein per pound that you weigh. This is a general bodybuilder benchmark for a reason. Space your protein out with your small frequent meals. Good protein sources include egg whites, tuna, turkey, and lean red meat like round and cube steaks. Exercise / Cardio Some helpful suggestions and tips for proper cardio: Invest in a heart rate monitor watch. Polar makes a solid one which can interface with many gym treadmills so you can see your stats easily. They are great for outdoor exercise as well and can store and display various data on your peformance. Perform cardio 3x per week at your target fat burning heart rate for at least 30 minutes. If you cannot do 30 minutes, then start at 10 and work your way up. As far as your target heart rate, every person will be different but you want to aim for 70% of your maximum heart rate (this is a proven % for effective weight loss). Harvard’s Men’s Health Watch published their suggested max heart rate formula based on studies of over 18 thousand men and women of various ages: maximum heart rate = 208 (0.7 x age in years) To find your target heart rate for weight loss, multiply your maximum heart rate from above by 0.7. This is the heart rate you want to maintain throughout the duration of your cardio session. So if you are 32 years old, your target heart rate would be 0.7*(208-0.7*32), or 129.92. Your watch will enable you to peg your cardio session at that number.Exercise in the morning on an empty stomach. Some studies state there is no difference in effectiveness when you do cardio, but if you do it in the morning you will: Be at a caloric deficit so if you get your heart rate in the fat burning zone, you will instantly be promoting weight loss. Start the day off with your health and fitness in mind. Get into the right mindset! Be less likely to counter your cardio productiveness by eating a poor meal post-workout. You won’t be tempted to erase that great session you just had!Supplements Some suggestions for weight loss supplements: Whey Protein - Sometimes it can be difficult to get the protein you need because of lack of time to prepare it. You can get whey protein in various flavors (even Double Chocolate) to make tasty shakes. I recommend Optimum Nutrition due to its taste, nutrition, and overall value. Hoodia - Another natural plant which is highly effective when used in conjunction with a weight loss plan. Look for certified natural Hoodia pills from a reputable company. Yerba Mate - This is a great appetite suppressant and metabolism booster. With its natural caffeine, Yerba Mate can replace coffee as your pick-me-up and it doesn’t give the jitters or headaches that coffee can give. It comes from South America and the natives there drink it all day long. With these suggestions and a little discipline you will surely reach your weight loss goals.
